2. Information we process
Depending on the features you use, we process account and contact details, profile preferences, learning activity and progress, lesson media and transcripts, support messages, purchase references and technical/security records. Payment credentials are handled through the designated payment provider or store payment flow.
3. Audio, transcripts and optional video
AI Tutor and supported live-lesson features record and process lesson audio and may create transcripts and replay recordings. Video is processed when the relevant camera/video feature is enabled. Review the recording information and consent step before beginning a recorded lesson. Camera input is optional where the feature offers it. Ending a lesson stops your participation; records already created follow the applicable retention and deletion process. Reading this policy does not by itself grant camera or microphone permission or constitute recording consent.
4. Why we use information
We use the relevant information to provide accounts and lessons, learning feedback and progress, support, purchase/access administration, security and troubleshooting. Processing may rely on performance of the service, legal obligations, applicable legitimate interests or separate consent, depending on the purpose. Optional marketing choices and recording consent are handled separately.
5. Service providers and transfers
Providing the service may involve hosting/storage, AI and speech processing, communications and payment providers. Depending on the service, processing may occur outside Türkiye. Such processing and transfers must follow applicable data-protection requirements. We do not sell your lesson recordings. This policy does not grant permission for unrelated advertising or AI model-training use of recordings.
6. Retention and account deletion
Replay availability is limited by the relevant feature and retention rules; it is not a promise that every recording is permanently available. Other records are retained for their service purpose and applicable legal requirements. Account deletion removes user-associated application records and starts stored-file cleanup. A minimal anonymous deletion event may remain. Store subscriptions must be managed separately through the relevant store. Information already delivered to a recipient, such as a support email, cannot be recalled by deleting the application account.
7. Referrals
An invitation link identifies a referral campaign/source without exposing the inviter’s name or email in the link. Eligible new users may receive the published first-purchase benefit. Referral attribution and applied discount records are used to validate eligibility and prevent repeated claims.
8. Your choices and requests
You can manage available camera/microphone controls, optional communication preferences and account deletion. For applicable KVKK rights, including information about processing, access, correction and deletion, contact info@languagelab.com.tr. We may request proportionate identity verification. Requests will be assessed under applicable law.
9. Updates
The version and effective date appear above. Material changes and any new processing requiring consent must be addressed through the appropriate notice or consent flow.
